Included by Germano Celant in the Arte Povera Movement during the late Sixties, Paolini's work is actually more in the field of conceptualism and abstraction. Using collage, reproductions, photographs, plaster casts and drawings, he investigates the art as a reflective meditation on itself and its relation with the space of representation.
